2016-2017 Memberships now available at Chris Lewit Tennis Vermont (formerly West River)
For 2016-2017 season, it’s a long 40 week season with $6000 price per membership. Each lead member can bring up to 4 guests or family members to play during their contract time. Members could also bring a pro as their guest to play in a group or teach them, but this season there will be no pro on staff. 24 members total annually is the limit. The club will be outfitted with an electronic entry system and each member will receive a unique passcode so they can use the club during their designated contract times. There is also free walk-on court time for members in addition to the 4 contract hours, so members could play at off-peak times that are not filled.
My family and I currently plan to come up on some weekends and during summertime. It is possible that in the future, we might move full time to the area. But as of now, we will only be up part-time. If in the future, we decided to move there full-time, I would be teaching at the club and would have a staff under me. But we have not made a final decision on that yet. During the summer months, I will have the clay courts in back renovated to European red clay and will have an excellent staff of coaches at the club for my summer camp.
We will be setting up an online system for court time and signup so the entire availability of court time each week will be visualized and accessible by the members of the club through a website.
