Description

July 6 to July 8, 2017

This in depth class is designed for individuals of all levels to fully explore the creative possibilities of Metal Clay. We will begin with rolling, texturing, layering and embellishing metal clay to create intriguing and varied pendants and earrings. We will then explore stone setting, hollow forms and rings. Metal clay lends itself to all artistic styles and expressions. During this class you will create and finish several beautiful pieces of wearable art in sterling and fine silver.
Lis-el Crowley has worked for over 30 years as an artisan and teacher and currently owns and operates Art & Soul Gallery in Windsor, CT. Lis-el is a Senior Certified Art Clay Silver instructor, and is currently working in ceramic, metal clay, fused glass, fiber, and metal. Her work can be found in galleries and shops throughout New England.
