February 2 to February 2, 2019

While some may look to this member of the marmot family under a different moniker, Vermonters turn to the woodchuck to portend the length of winter. And since the nickname “woodchuck” is given to every true native of the state, it makes Okemo’s version of the ceremonial pre-spring emergence a must-see event. A special guest “prognosticator of prognosticators” will make an appearance at 11:30 a.m. at the base of South Ridge Quads. Après ski with a cold Woodchuck Cider in the Sitting Bull.
