HFCU Connects with Ludlow rootsHeritage Family Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative offering a variety of financial products and services to its members. You are eligible to join Heritage Family if you live, work, worship, go to school, or do business in Rutland, Addison, Bennington, Windsor or Windham counties.
HFCU was started by employees of General Electric in 1956 in Ludlow, Vt. In June 2011, Heritage Family opened its newest branch at the old post office on Main Street in Ludlow to reestablish its ties to the area. Led by branch manager Val Perrino, the branch staff of three is eager to serve the needs of HFCU members. Lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. ? 5 p.m. with drive-thru service beginning at 8:30 a.m. In addition, the branch features a full service ATM that is accessible at all times.
Heritage Family Credit Union has eight branch locations across southern and central Vermont and one in Hooksett, N.H. Since opening its doors, HFCU has grown to employ nearly 160 people and is owned by its more than 40,000 members.
