Description

The
Weston Historical Society curates
three fascinating museums: the Farrar-Mansur House (1795 dwelling and tavern),
the Old Mill (where an operating water-powered grist mill and the amazing Lane
shingle maker are demonstrated) and the Craft Building (Weston?s first
firehouse and now home to the 1880 bandwagon of the Weston Cornet Band).
Museums are open from late June to mid-October and some Holidays.

The
Society also conducts walking tours
of Weston?s Historic District, sponsors lectures on historic subjects and hosts
a Colonial Craft Day each September. See this web site (and local newspapers)
for information on specific events.
