November 2019 Member of the Month – Art Randolph of People’s United Bank
Art Randolph of People’s United Bank in Ludlow was recently selected as the November 2019 Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (OVRCC) Member of the Month. Art serves as the Chairman of the Chamber’s Membership Committee, as Chamber Ambassador and actively attends Chamber Mixers to help welcome new members.
Art is the Branch Manager in Ludlow for People’s one of 400 branches in the northeast. The bank was founded in Bridgeport CT in 1847 and currently operates in 5 of 6 New England States and New York State. The Ludlow office has been in existence for over 40 years with 2 others banks which were acquired by People’s. Within Okemo Valley, People’s also has branches in Chester and Londonderry. The Ludlow Branch serves not only Ludlow but the surrounding communities in the northern part of the valley.
People’s offers a full range of banking and financial services as well as insurance and wealth management for both business and personal clients. Services also include cash management, credit card processing, lending and mortgages.
Art says the best feature of his business is their friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Ludlow branch operates with 4 employees as well as visiting banking partners. They go out of their way to deliver for their customers and always “go the extra mile”.
Something surprising that folks may not know about Art is that he served as a safety ambassador for Okemo Ski Patrol for 12 years.
Art believes strongly in the benefit of chamber membership. He has always participated and served on the boards of local chambers wherever he has been located. Art thinks that chambers are a fabulous way to engage the business community and is a big believer that they are also a great way to build relationships. He feels that chambers are also very important in helping members to grow which in turn helps the local business community.
